A vermiform (name meaning “worm-like”) is a type of plant which lived during the Jurassic period.
Behind the Scenes
This fictional plant is only mentioned on the Jurassic World website’s page for the Botanical Gardens, where it is referenced as one of the species brought back to life. Its name is a reference to older scripts for Jurassic Park, which included a plant called a vermiform. This was a misprint of “veriforman,” a plant which actually does appear in the film.
