Toyota (C/N)

The Toyota Motor Corporation is a multinational automobile company headquartered in the city of the same name in the Aichi prefecture of Japan. It is currently the ninth largest company in the world by revenue. The company was founded in 1937 by Kiichiro Toyoda as a spin-off from his father Sakichi Toyoda’s company, Toyota Industries. Three years prior, as a department of Sakichi’s company, the Type A engine was created, and its first passenger car–the Toyota AA–was developed in 1936. It is also part of the Toyota Group, one of the largest conglomerates in the world.

Toyota provided John Hammond and InGen with some of their products for Jurassic Park, namely the Toyota Land Cruiser and 1988 Toyota Corolla DX.
