Topps Comics – Jurassic Park: Raptors Hijack

The Jurassic Park: Raptor series concludes the story arc that was continued in Jurassic Park: Raptors Attack. Raptors Hijack is another four-issue series published by Topps Comics. The Raptor series would later be republished by Topps and called “Jurassic Park: Adventures” and sold all ten issues individually.

Jurassic Park Raptors Hijack #1

Grant and the others continue their search to find the Velociraptors Alfie and Ceila. Meanwhile, a mysterious old woman begins studying the raptors while studying a gorilla in the Columbian rain forest. Elsewhere, John Hammond prepares his own task force to finally strike back at BioSyn for being responsible for abducting the Velociraptors and Doctors Grant and Sattler from Isla Nublar.

Jurassic Park Raptors Hijack #2

InGen moves against BioSyn for sabotaging Isla Nublar and abducting Alan Grant and Ellie Sattler, as George Lawala is connected to Biosyn. Dr. Belvedere makes successful contact with Alfie and Ceila, and uses sign language to communicate with the Velociraptors. After BioSyn’s helicopter attacks Muldoon and his team, Muldoon takes on and destroys Dr. Belvedere’s BioSyn protectors. Unfortunately, in all the chaos Muldoon’s radio is broken. Dr. Fischer takes over where the other BioSyn representatives left off and reveals himself as a representative for Biosyn and wishes to aide them in building their own “Jurassic Park,” starting with using Alfie and Ceila as part of the main attractions.

Jurassic Park Raptors Hijack #3

Doctors Fischer and Belvedere implant a wall around the Velociraptors to hold them captive for the construction phase of BioSyn’s new Jurassic Park. Alfie and Ceila nest and create a new generation of Velociraptors. Malcolm suffers from a fever and, with aide from an Amazonian tribe, is allowed to rest while Ellie watches over him. Dr. Grant and Robert Muldoon venture further into the jungle to search for a radio. InGen dispatches a team of helicopters to find Muldoon and his missing team and discover Biosyn’s new “Jurassic Park,” and all but one of the InGen choppers are subsequently destroyed.

Jurassic Park Raptors Hijack #4

Alfie’s and Ceila’s eggs hatch. Fischer closes the raptors off in the enclosure, angering the animals. Alan and Muldoon are missing and Ellie, with a recovered Dr. Malcolm, search for them, stumbling upon the BioSyn encampment in the process. The Velociraptors find a way to free themselves and kill Fischer and Belvedere as well as other BioSyn employees. Alfie, Ceila, and their infants head off into the jungle, never to be found. Ellie, Grant, Malcolm, and Muldoon are all rescued by a surviving InGen helicopter.
