Smuggling (C/N)

Smuggling is the illegal transportation of goods—including human beings—into places where such goods or the transport of them are in violation of laws and regulations. There are various motivations for smuggling, such as the participation in an illegal trade like drug trafficking or slavery. In the present day, the three most lucrative types of smuggling are of arms, drugs, and wild animals, though arguably one of the most reprehensible is human trafficking, the modern form of slavery.
