Smith & Wesson 5906 (T/C)

Another weapon cut from Trespasser at some point, the Smith & Wesson 5906 is a double-action/single-action semi-automatic pistol developed by Smith & Wesson in 1989. It’s chambered to fire 9mm rounds, with a standard magazine size of either 10 or 15 rounds.

As per the request of various law-enforcement agencies, the 5909 cannot fire unless the magazine is in place. This safety feature enables users to simply drop their magazine from their weapon should they lose control of the gun, rendering it useless.

Although it was a popular pistol at the time, the 5906 was soon replaced by lighter polymer-framed pistols from companies such as Glock and Heckler & Koch, as well as Smith & Wesson’s own M&P line of polymer-framed pistols.

The barrel length is 102mm (4 in.).
