Self-Organizing Behavior (C/N)

Self-Organizing behavior is the scientific term for the behavior that complex systems exhibit due to the spontaneous interaction of its components. This behavior was not planned or directed in any way. There are two specific behaviors, as outlined by Ian Malcolm in his lecture at the Santa Fe Institute as important to the study of evolution-Adaption and another aspect Malcolm outlines as the ‘Edge of Chaos’.
