San Diego appears twice in the Devils in the Desert story line. Once it appears in a flashback of the San Diego sequence from The Lost World: Jurassic Park. The second time it appears is in issue three of the series when Dr. Pettigrew goes to InGen headquarters to attempt to blackmail InGen with the information he has on the Pteranodon attacks happening close by in a small town (where the story is taking place.)
There is also a zoo sequence in issue five of Devils in the Desert and whether it takes place in the San Diego Zoo or some other large city in southern California is unknown.
