The quarantine pens on Isla Nublar are located in north of the Visitor Center, near the Dr. Laura Sorkin‘s Lab. The quarantine pens are used to hold sick animals, or ones which are otherwise deemed dangerous and are intended to be euthanized. The Troodons were kept in the quarantine pens until they escaped when Dennis Nedry cut the power to the Park. Dr. Sorkin also had her own private stock of Velociraptors and male Parasaurolophus held in the quarantine pens as well.
