Ouranosaurus nigeriensis (CB-Topps)

“Brave or Monitor Lizard” was named by the high, thick spines on its back. It was discovered in 1966 and described in 1976 by Philippe Taquet. It was 7 meters (around 24ft.) in length and 3 tons in weight. Ouranosaurus lived in at 110 million years ago, during the Early Cretaceous Period in what is today North¬†Africa. It is likely Ouranosaurus in the comics are smaller than the real animal.
