Guitierrez's Air Pistol (C/N)

Loaded with ligamine darts, Dr. Marty Guitierrez used this air pistol while searching for the mysterious “lizard” that had been connected with various biting incidents around Costa Rica, all of which involving sleeping children and infants.  His investigation had taken him to the Cabo Blanco beach, where Tina Bowman had been bitten by an abberant creature two days previously. Although his efforts to find the animal initially proved fruitless, he eventually noticed a howler monkey near a mangrove swamp, which appeared to have a lizard in its mouth. After scaring the monkey away with two tranquilizer darts, Guitierrez retrieved the partially eaten corpse, before sending it to Dr. Edward H. Simpson in New York for study.
