A golf cart (or golf car) is a small vehicle which is designed to carry two golfers and their golfing equipment around a golf course or on desert trails with less effort than walking. Though golf carts were invented for use only on golf courses, in practice they are used in many other settings, such as to transport security guards.
Golf carts were in use on Isla Nublar, presumably for the purposes of transportation around the (planned) golf course. Alan Grant used a golf cart that he found behind the waterfall to transport himself, Tim and Lex Murphy, and the young male Velociraptor that Lex named “Clarence” to the Visitor Center.
