Jurassic Park Survival

So, this just got announced. Developed by Saber Interactive and set on Isla Nublar the day after JP1. We don't have a release date yet but the reveal trailer looks pretty cool.
Blue my beloved.
The Indominus and Indoraptor were victims and deserved better.
JPIII is overhated.

But now, there is a someone in the world who isn't him.

Definitely! I have loved what I have seen so far and I hope the gameplay is similar to Alien Isolation with the sneaking around aspect. I wouldn't mind some moments where there's also some FPS combat.

I've always wanted to see more of the Isla Nublar incident (That's the main reason I liked JP:TG, well that and a fanfic I read based off of it) and I'm also curious how this will square with JP:TG. Obv the newer stuff has for the most part ignored JP:TG like JW and JWCC but it'll still be interesting to see what Survival does.
May have to update the 1993 Isla Nublar map as well if more locations are shown.

Only if someone else is up to the task of updating it! My days are behind me with doing the maps due to how involved and taxing it has been on me in the past and how involved I used to get in the process. I find it a bit too stressful. I can offer consultancy if it helps the next person of course.

I will probably do at least something to update my headcanon maps of Isla Nublar. But I've seen the research that goes into the original JPLegacy maps and I am not up to that.

My prayers are for adult Dilophosaur encounter, but I think everyone forgot the movie ones were juveniles since 1993.

So apparently Saber Interactive has now been sold from Embracer Group, meaning the status of Survival is in somewhat of a question right now.

This makes me super worried as I was looking forward to the game. I hope it still gets made and I hope it is good. Jurassic Park needs a First-Person survival-type game like Alien Isolation for the PC.

That trailer costed money and had some ingame footage. I don't think they are that early in the game that the product could get canceled. I'll be in denial until official news.
