Re: Headcanons
-The Jurassic World apatosaurs were all slaughtered in the same place because they stood together trying to defend each other. Their inexperience was what got them killed; they'd never fought a predator before and couldn't learn quickly enough. The final one to be attacked ended up farther away from...

-Hammond's limp wasn't just because he was old. It did get worse as he aged, but the original injury was from German shrapnel during World War II. (This is based on his age, which means he would have been of age to be drafted in the war. From JWFK we know that WWII is canon to the movies.)

Headcanons
Stuff that isn't canon, but you feel like could've happened in the movies' world anyway. -Lewis Dodgson never, not even once, paid for his own food in the Biosyn Headquarters commissary. Instead he would follow around other employees and ask them for snacks, or steal food off other people's trays wh...

Re: The Sanctuary Island
The mansion was a crime scene, but usually access to property is returned to the original owners once criminal investigations have concluded. Since the original owner is dead and his most likely inheritor is also dead, the property goes to his closest living relatives.

Re: The Sanctuary Island
Also of interest is the matter of who owns Sanctuary Island, and Lockwood's other properties for that matter. The movie implied that he was going to leave everything to Mills in the hopes that he would provide for Maisie, but since Mills died, those properties would instead go to Lockwood's next of ...

Re: The Sanctuary Island
The JWE games aren't hard canon, but it still leaves us with "the island exists in a game that tries to keep decently close to canon" versus "the island is made up according to a fan theory." Neither of them are *true* canon, but one has more merit than the other.
