Pettigrew is a doctor (of some kind of science) who goes to Alan Cobb and InGen with 
information regarding the mutilations and killings going on in southern California. He threatens to blackmail InGen, since this would once again be another incident concerning the InGen creations. Cobb threatens to sue Pettigrew if anything gets out, and the doctor is then subsequently thrown out of the InGen building. Once Pettigrew leaves he makes a phone call to someone named Louis, where he says “No, I don’t have your money yet. But maybe I got something even better.”
