Cultural Isolation of American Resorts (C/N)

As Dr. Roberta Carter witnessed the helicopter about to land in Bahía Anasco, she recognized it as coming from the resort that InGen was building on an offshore Island. She pictured it as a stereotypical resort mainly catering to rich Americans. There isolated from the country at large, they could enjoy their island paradise in a highly manufactured setting, without having to interact with the native populace.
