An unknown make, model, and quantity of specially designed vehicles was ordered by InGen in 1987 to be used for containment measures in the Isla Nublar resort facility. At the time the shipment of the vehicles was ordered, InGen had not yet had an adult population of dinosaurs, and despite the attitude of John Hammond, Park Warden, Robert Muldoon was discontented to learn that the vehicles were not fast enough to recapture an escaped dinosaur specimen. In response, Muldoon eventually was able to convince Hammond to purchase two specially designed laser-guided rocket launchers.
