Browning M2 (T/C)

The Browning M2, also called  “Ma Deuce”, is one of the most powerful weapons in Trespasser, and is the only mounted machine-gun. Due to its weight and recoil, it is extremely hard to aim, and, along with the Barrett M82A1, players often have to move their entire body rather than just their arm in order to try to aim.

This extremely rare monster of a gun carries around two hundred .50 caliber rounds, although Anne always notes that the magazine is half empty, implying that the full mag would have four hundred rounds or so. It is extremely effective against all types of dinosaur, although it usually takes a full magazine to kill a Tyrannosaurus.

The M2 heavy machine-gun was first designed in 1918 by John Browning. It is similar in design to the earlier Browning M1919A4, which was chambered for the .30-06 cartridge, but the M2, as already stated, fires .50 BMG (Browning Machine Gun) rounds. It has been used as a vehicle and aircraft-mounted weapon from the 1920’s to the present day. It was used heavily in WW2, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War, and also during U.S. operations in Iraq and Afghanistan. The M2 is the primary heavy machine-gun NATO countries, and has been in use longer than any other small arms weapon except for the Browning .45 ACP M1911 pistol.

The barrel length is 1,143mm (45.0 in.).
