Brachiosaur Paddock – Isla Nublar (S/F)

jurassic_park_3d_26The Brachiosaurus Paddock was where Isla Nublar‘s Brachiosaurus herd was kept. It comprised some forests, a large expanse of grasslands, and a lagoon.  The paddock was shared by a herd of Parasaurolophus. In 1993, it was in this paddock that John Hammond introduced the inspection team comprised of Donald Genarro, and doctors Alan Grant, Ellie Sattler, and Ian Malcolm to Jurassic Park’s unique attractions. The sight also automatically confirmed several paleontological theories that were prevalent at the time such as endothermy in dinosaurs, terrestrial preference in sauropoda, and herding behaviors.
