Bicycle (C/N)

A bicycle (usually shortened to “bike”) is a human-powered, pedal-driven, single-track vehicle with two wheels attached to a frame, one behind the other; one who rides a bicycle is called a cyclist (“biker” is reserved for one who rides a motorcycle). First introduced in the 19th century, bicycles now number more than a billion worldwide, twice as many as automobiles, and are the principal means of transportation in many regions. Bicycles are also used to provide a popular form of recreation, and have been adapted for use a children’s toys, adult fitness, military and police applications, courier services, and bicycle racing.

InGen also used bicycles on Isla Sorna, presumably as a non-polluting means of transportation. Even years after InGen abandoned the island, some bicycles remained in working order, and one was used by Richard Levine between the time of Diego‘s death and the arrival of those who had come to retrieve him.
