Andrewsarchus mongoliensis (L/M)

Andrewsarchus is a genus of carnivorous artiodactyl in the clade Cetancodontomorpha, related to whales, hippos, and entelodonts. Its fossils are found in central Asia. Originally this mammal lived between 43 and 41 million years ago, during the Bartonian age of the Paleogene period. One species, Andrewsarchus mongoliensis, has been discovered.
