The adult Velociraptor statue was seen only once in The Lost World. It was six feet tall, colored dark green, and made a deep hissing sound. It was at the back wing of the biology department at Doctor Malcolm’s workplace, and him and one of the modelers, named Tim, were viewing it.
Malcolm, probably due to seeing one alive, says that the animal is inaccurate, and says that the jaws should be widened, the muscles tensed, the skin tightened, and the foot claw raised up. He also adds that the hissing sound, which sounds like somebody urinating, should be changed to a snarl.
Tim thought that it might scare the children if the modifications were made, but Malcolm replies that it might scare him.
