A stampede is a mass impulse among herd animals in which they all begin collectively running with no clear direction or purpose. It is associated with bovids, Elephants, Horses, and Rhinoceros, among other types of animals.
Such a stampede occurred among the hadrosaurs on Isla Nublar in the panic of a Tyrannosaurus hunt. The incident happened after a power outage on the island allowed for the Tyrannosaurus to escape and roam other paddocks.
