The U.S. military is an armed force which destroyed Isla Nublar. According to Billy Yoder, the job of him and his fellow mercenaries was to extract survivors of the Jurassic Park Incident from the island, secondarily to the initial extraction that took Alan Grant, John Hammond, and others off the island, before the military arrived to send the island to the bottom of the ocean by air attacks.
