Medical Biologic Services was the name of a fictional laboratory that was located in Salt Lake City, Utah. This laboratory is where Alan Grant sent the bones that came from fossils to fragile for display or study. The laboratory ground up the bones and extracted proteins from them, and a report was sent back to Grant. The laboratory chose the specimens it worked with through competitive bids.
