Mamoudou Athie was recently cast for a lead role in Jurassic World Three according to Deadline Hollywood. This casting news was swiftly confirmed by Colin Trevorrow on twitter, as well as re-tweeted by the official Jurassic World twitter account. This announcement marks the first new casting that is not a returning cast member for this movie.
Mamoudou Athie’s other screen credits include ‘The Get Down” and “Uncorked” for Netflix. He is currently starring in “Sorry for Your Loss” as well. His film credits include “The Circle” and “Unicorn Store.” Jurassic World Three will be his first time starring in a lead role in a major film.
Jurassic World 3 is due to release on June 11, 2021. It is being directed by Colin Trevorrow, with the script being co-written by Emily Charmichael. Returning cast members confirmed for the film include Bryce Dallas Howard, Chris Pratt, Ian Malcolm, Sam Neil and Laura Dern.
