The unnamed model Ferrari was the car owned and driven by Dr. Richard Levine. Dr. Levine took this Ferrari to see Dr. Ian Malcolm in the Guadalupe Cafe. Due to Dr. Levine’s bad driving skills the Ferrari often got tickets, and on one occasion Dr. Ian Malcolm was in the car with Dr. Levine when this occurred. Another one of these events occurred in front of Woodside Junior High which had the Ferrari impounded and Dr. Levine sentenced to community service. It was this event which lead him to become a teacher at the school. According to Dr. Ian Malcolm, Levine frequently tried to get his Ferrari out of impound.
