Isla Muerta (S/F)

Isla_Muerta_mapRoughly translated from Spanish, Isla Muerta means “Dead Island,” a fitting title for the namesake of Las Cinco Muertes. The oval-shaped Isla Muerta is only slightly smaller than Isla Matanceros to its north, and is about three times smaller than Isla Sorna to its south. The island has an outer rim running all along its western coast, from which it flattens out to the east as a broad, flat plain in much of the northeast parts of the island. Three tiny islets are associated with Isla Muerta, the most of any in Las Cinco Muertes; Isla Sorna and Isla Matanceos are tied for second with one apiece.
