InGen Corporation (JN)

InGen Corporation, otherwise known as “InGen,” was a genetics company founded by John Hammond, control of which was later taken by Peter Ludlow. InGen purchased two islands off the coast of South America named Isla Nublar and Site B. They used Isla Nublar as the location of a dinosaur theme park called Jurassic Park while using the larger Site B as a research and cloning facility. InGen liquidated Isla Nublar following the Isla Nublar Incident and Site B was abandoned following a hurricane evacuation of all InGen personnel. Four years following the Isla Nublar Incident, InGen attempted to complete construction of a second park-like attraction in San Diego in order to reverse the financial woes inflicted on the company following the disaster on Nublar. The idea was abandoned following the incident at San Diego that featured a rampaging Tyrannosaur through the city.
