Grid Network – Isla Nublar (C/N)

On Isla Nublar, InGen had a computerized map of the island over which was overlaid a grid which divided the park into different sectors. These different sectors are implied to be further subdivided into their own grids. The sectors are monitored by motion-sensors and video cameras as well. The grid network was used to identify and track where all the different animals were at the same time used in conjunction with the Computer Tally. The network was managed from the control room in the Visitor’s Center, and a simplified version was available on the computer screens on the park vehicles.

Known Sectors:

  • Sector 1104 (The Unknown Service road is located in this sector)
  • Sector 11-Unknown
  • Sector 12-Unknown
  • Grid 442-443-(Unknown, but somewhere along the river)
