Re: D4E's Dioramas!
The Mamenchi shot reminds me of pictures I used to gawk at as a kid in my old dinosaur story books.

Re: Mattel Creations - Jurassic World the Gates Crowdfund
This was an excellent post and it shows you genuinely understand the situation and the complexities of it. This was a lot of my problem too and why I started to just respond so harshly and aggressively when people just refused to understand the practicalities of the situation and I was told I should...

Re: Mattel Creations - Jurassic World the Gates Crowdfund
We've got about 13 hours left for the crowdfunding. Unfortunately, we're at around 1,566 backers when the goal to fund it is 5k and the goal to get everything that is being offered is 8k. If you've been waiting for the last minute it doesn't hurt to jump in, but for now, this has failed due to a lac...

Re: Biggest collection misses/regrets?
Not much, unfortunately, they had a few marketing VHS tapes and a couple of other bits of promotional material I thought could be helpful.

Re: Biggest collection misses/regrets?
There was an eBay auction back in 2007/2008 that I missed due to some life circumstances at the time that I really wish I would've gotten in on because it was a lot of Jurassic stuff that had marketing things and various other rare items that were clearly from someone that either worked on the produ...

Re: How did you become a Jurassic Park fan?
I was 3 or 4 when I saw the first novel come out, this was about in 1989. My mom told me that was a book with no pictures on it other than the front cover. Being someone who wanted dinosaur books with pictures that were also learning books about real once-living animals, I accepted that. I ended up ...

Re: Canceled Jurassic World Roleplaying Game
It saddens me greatly this was canceled. It would have been a massive benefit to the lore and various other universe-building aspects of the series. I've always wanted to take the work we've done on the encyclopedia and publish it as a resource for people looking to have something "in-film"...

Re: Did you get to ride the ride? (At Universal Studios)
I did in about 2007, I went down to Universal Orlando and stayed with a good friend for about a month or so. He and I did the River Adventure and went to the rest of Universal at that time and I am extremely grateful for my friend and their family for having me so long down there. I can tell now it'...

Re: Favorite Paleo Documentary/Miniseries
Yeah, I'd have to agree Prehistoric Planet and the original Walking with Dinosaurs for me are both comparable and on the same level for me.
