The FN-40GL is a firearm extension that is legally designated as a grenade launcher. It has the capability to integrate with the FN Sca 16 or the FN Scar 17 models. This extension fires 40x46mm NATO standard low velocity Grenades.The extension is either mounted underneath a rifle, or it can be reconfigured as a standalone launcher.
Wheatley‘s mercenaries were equipped with the FN-40GL grenade launcher, mounted on their FN-SCAR submachine guns during the 2018 expedition to Isla Nublar. Due to the highly dangerous nature of containing dinosaurs, extra firepower may have been required.
