Dina Skrumbis (C/N)

Dina Skrumbis was an archivist working with the Peabody Museum at Yale University. In the Lost World novel, she faxed Dr. Richard Levine a message, indicating that the document he requested, “Geschichtliche Forschungsarbeiten über die Geologie Zentralamerikas, 1922-1929“, had been sent by Federal Express (FedEx) that day, ending with a thank you and her signature. Dr. Thorne tells Kelly that the document means something like “Something Researches on the Geology of Central America.”

In reality, the title translates to “Historical Research on the Geology of Central America”.
