Daniella Pineda and Justice Smith confirmed to return for Jurassic World 3!

Today,the entertainment trade Collider confirmed that Daniella Pineda and Justice Smith would be reprising their roles as Zia and Franklin in tentatively titled Jurassic World 3 that will likely have a new title later as the production moves ahead. This news was swiftly confirmed with a retweet by the official Jurassic World Twitter account. This casting means that as of now, all of the surviving supporting and lead roles from Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom are confirmed to be returning to the franchise.

Justice Smith’s most recently starred in a lead role in the Blockbuster hit ‘Detective Pikachu’. His next film, for Netflix will be “All the Bright Places”, starring alongside Elle Fanning. Daniella Pineda’s most recent role is starring in a lead in the Netflix series Cowboy Bebop, which is currently on production hiatus. Her next role will be voicing a character for the Adult Swim series Dream Corp LLC.

Jurassic World 3 is due to release on June 11, 2021. It is being directed by Colin Trevorrow, with the script being co-written by Emily Charmichael. Returning cast members confirmed for the film include Bryce Dallas Howard, Chris Pratt, Ian Malcolm, Sam Neil and Laura Dern. They will be joined by newcomers Mamoudou Athie and Dwanda Wise.
