It is extremely important that, in potentially dangerous locations, proper warning is given to those both familiar and unfamiliar with it; anything less can result in negligence lawsuits. Danger signs warning of fatally high voltage are typically found at the base of electrical pylons, the fences of substations, and on radiotechnical equipment. Such signs were also displayed on the electrical fencing on Isla Nublar: the dinosaurs would generally be shocked by the electricity once and survive, remembering to not approach it otherwise, but such high levels of electricity are typically instantly fatal to humans; the warning signs were intended more for young or foolish visitors to the park than for the dinosaurs.
