Consumer Biologicals (C/N)

Consumer Biologicals was a term used by Biotech companies such as InGen and Biosyn to describe products of genetic engineering intended for entertainment, sports and leisure. When John Hammond first made his pitch for the Jurassic Park project to his investors, he would utilize his miniature elephant as an example of how this term could be applied for profit. Biosyn in particular had already attained some success in this area, such as creating a pale variety of trout that was easier to catch in streams.
