Appearing in-game as the Calico MP50, the M950 is a fully-automatic 9mm handgun. It uses a one hundred-round helical magazine and is classified as one of the hardest weapons to aim. It is relatively weak, capable of killing only four or five “Tribe A” Velociraptors in a single magazine, although its inaccuracy causes many players to waste most of the magazine without killing more than one or two.
It is one of the less-common weapons, often concealed in various locations throughout the game.
The M950 was manufactured by Calico Light Weapons Systems in the United States. Its most distinguishing feature is the previously-mentioned helical magazine, which is offered in fifty or one hundred-round capacities. Its barrel (330mm or 13 in.) is long enough to attach a foregrip. Its effective range is sixty to one hundred meters.
