Howard was born in Los Angeles, California, to director Ron Howard and writer Cheryl Howard Crew. However, when she was seven, she was allowed to play as an extra in one of her father’s movies, and that’s where it all started. She has three younger siblings; two sisters named Jocelyn and Paige, and a brother named Reed. They were raised in Westchester County, New York.

Bryce studied film at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, during which she took part in the concept recording of the soon to be Broadway musical A Tale of Two Cities. After performing in various plays, she caught the eye of director M. Night Shyamalan, who cast her in his film The Village. She then went on to star in Shyamalan’s Lady in the Water and Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man 3.

Howard has won an MTV Movie Award for her performance in The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, as well as the Teen Choice Award for best female lead in a summer blockbuster in Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. She has also been nominated for a Gold Globes award for Best Performance by an actress in a TV or made for TV movie for As You Like It.

Jurassic World

In 2015, Bryce starred in Colin Trevorrow’s hit Jurassic World as lead protagonist Claire Dearing, the fictional theme park’s senior assets manager. She also reprised her role as Claire in JA Bayona’s sequel Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. Both films have been her most financially successful films to date.

It hasn’t been announced whether or not Howard will return for the third Jurassic World sequel, which is set for release on June 11th, 2021. However it is highly likely that she will.
