Bracken Fern Poisoning (S/F)

A type of fern that has existed more than 55 million years called Bracken is the food choice for many herbivores; however, it can be very dangerous for the herbivore eating it in excess. If there’s too much bracken poisoning is more than likely to occur and this results in thiamine deficiency, sluggish behavior, and various infections. It is important to remove these ferns from all habitats of animals that favor plants and replace it with a variety of other dietary alternatives.
