The M82, which the M82A1 is a variant of, is a recoil-operated, semi-automatic, anti-material rifle, developed by the American Barrett Firearms Manufacturing company in 1982. The M82, also called the “Light .50″ for it’s .50 caliber BMG chambering, is a heavy SASR (Special Application Scoped Rifle) used by various units and armies around the world.
It has two main variants, the M82A1 and the bullpup M82A2, which is no longer produced.
The barrel-lengths are 29″ and 20”.
