Allergic Reaction to Reptile Bites (C/N)

Marty Guitierrez explained the swelling resulting from the procompsognathus bite on Tina Bowman‘s arm as an allergic reaction. He claimed that fourteen percent of people were allergic to lizard bites. According to Marty, reptile saliva contained Serotonin, which caused tremendous pain and caused her blood pressure to rise. His claim was that animal handlers in zoos were bitten all the time, although a quick check on his computer database revealed that he could find no references to hospitalization for lizard bites, even in America.
