This vehicle was in use by the “San Diego County Department Of Animal Care & Control” during the raid by the bull Tyrannosaurus rex during the San Diego Incident of 1997. The animal care and control truck is called to deal with animals within the city that could pose a threat to the population. In this instance, they got more than they bargained for and joined the San Diego Police as they turned the opposite direction and fled at the sight of the agitated dinosaur.
